Handcrafted figures, jewelry and decorative objects made from natural materials, like antlers, musk oxen wool, stones, driftwood and feathers, all collected in the Nature of Greenland. Each piece is unique and reflects the Arctic landscape, its magic and the artist`s love for Greenland and its Nature.
All materials are carefully collected with respect for nature and its inhabitants, ensuring that the environment is not disturbed and without harming an animal.
Guests are invited to meet the artist in person, observe her creative process, and engage in conversations about how her work comes to life. She speaks English, Danish, and German. The guests gain insight into the rhythm of life in Sisimiut and the deep connection to nature. More than a shopping experience, it is an authentic encounter and a unique opportunity to experience Greenland through the eyes of an artist.
Nassuk Greenland
Arctic Boutique & Atelier
A place shaped by the Arctic
My Name is Wibke
and my work is deeply rooted in Greenland — in its landscapes, its people and the powerful relationship between nature and everyday life. I create with materials gathered from the land around me, giving them a new form while preserving their natural character and the story they carry.
For me, creating art is also about building bridges between cultures. As someone who came to Greenland and made it my home, I have experienced this place from both an outside and an inside perspective. Through the Arctic Boutique & Atelier Nassuk Greenland, I want to create a space where people can meet, exchange perspectives and discover Greenland beyond the surface.
At the heart of everything I create is respect — for nature and its inhabitants and the materials that become part of my work, and for the people and culture of Greenland. Each piece is therefore more than an object. It is one of a kind, a small connection between Greenland and the person who takes a piece of it home.
